About PETZI
COMMITTED TO LIVE MUSIC CULTURE SINCE 1996, PETZI ADVOCATES FOR THE SOCIAL AND POLITICAL APPRECIATION OF NON-PROFIT MUSIC VENUES AND FESTIVALS.
PETZI in a nutshell
PETZI is the national federation of over 200 music venues and festivals across 21 cantons and the four linguistic regions of Switzerland. PETZI represents music venues and festivals that operate on a cultural, non-profit basis. The cultural events organised by PETZI members draw in about 2.3 million people annually. PETZI forges links between their members, the various political and media partners and the audience.
Our mission
Advocacy: We fight for the recognition and support of non-profit music venues and festivals.
Representation: We defend the interests of our members and liaise with authorities at all levels.
Empowerment: We empower our members with advice, training, and resources on logistics and management. We encourage cooperation and the exchange of information between our members.
Collaboration: We work with similar organizations nationally and internationally, promoting a sustainable, diverse, inclusive and fair live music scene.
Volunteering: We highlight the vital role of volunteers in the live music sector.
Youth culture: We acknowledge and support the specific needs of youth culture within the live music sector.
Our services
Online Agenda & Ticketing: Since 2001, we've provided our members with an online agenda and a non-profit ticketing service. Learn more.

Consulting: Our members benefit from expert advice and support.
Data & Statistics: We collect and analyze data to advocate effectively for our members.
Documentation: We provide our members with valuable resources and keep them up to date on relevant issues and their development.
Coordination of the Open Club Day: An annual event that opens concert venues across Europe to the public.
Conferences & Events: We raise awareness of live music issues at various levels.
Member Discounts: We negotiate preferential rates for our members with different partners.
Networking: We organise different events for our members to meet and exchange, and offer them the opportunity to attend concerts held at other members.
Our supporters and partners
Since 2004, PETZI has had a subsidy contract with the Federal Social Insurance Office in accordance with Article 7 Paragraph 1 of the Child and Youth Promotion Act (LEEJ/KFJG/LPAG). PETZI is also supported by the State of Fribourg and the Republic and Canton of Geneva.
PETZI is a member of Live DMA, the European network for live music venues, clubs & festivals. Through this membership, PETZI participates in the Live Style Europe project, which is co-financed by the Creative Europe programme.
