Each season, a series of sound baths will bring together three artists, each of whom will perform three times, once every two months. This programme is an opportunity for these residents to experiment with the evolution between each performance, to invite other artists to collaborate and to familiarise themselves with the sound system and its possibilities.

Les bains sonores regrouperont à chaque saison trois artistes qui joueront chacun·e·x trois fois, soit tous les deux mois. Une occasion pour ces résident·e·x·s d’expérimenter dans l’évolution entre chaque proposition, d’inviter d’autres artistes à collaborer et de se familiariser avec le dispositif sonore et ses possibilités.

In jeder Saison findet eine Reihe von Klangbädern statt, bei denen drei Künstlerinnen und Künstler eingeladen werden. Jede Person gestaltet drei Auftritte im Abstand von jeweils zwei Monaten. Dieses Programm bietet ihnen die Gelegenheit, über die Zeit hinweg an der Weiterentwicklung ihrer Arbeiten zu experimentieren, andere Künstler zur Zusammenarbeit einzuladen und sich intensiv mit dem Soundsystem und dessen Möglichkeiten vertraut zu machen.

Emmanuel Küng, a music producer based in Fribourg, is a computer development engineer with a passion for electronics. Close to artists' networks, he travels the world to meet other enthusiasts and hones a multi-faceted, heterogeneous practice that's always keen to get off the beaten track.
OneFootStep has been making music for some time now. He doesn't stick to one particular genre, but rather explores and experiments with different techniques, both on the turntables and the modular synth. At the same time, he continues to support the local scene by getting involved in a number of cultural projects: Rababoo Records, SMEM, Backslash Festival, Umbo, to name but a few. His tracks have been released with ClubCultureCH, Worst Records and Klub Kegelbahn Luzern, among others.
For the final sound bath in this series of three, he will welcome Osmium.
Osmium (ENNA x IZAK) is a duo that has spent the last couple of years exploring various experiences and mediums and has been researching cultural synergies and tensions between the west and the east. They are based in Switzerland but recently came back from a 5 year stint in Asia, located in Tokyo and being active in the underground scene, delivering multi-modal performances as part of the Art Collective « Fuego » or themselves as Osmium_AV.
The duo offers a live audiovisual performance that merges reality and imagination, fusing analog & organic textures with industrial noise. Their work presents a succession of tableaux where textures, shapes, and soundscapes take the audience on a contemplative journey. Oscillating between downtempo rhythms and breaks fueled by noise, Izak’s industrial music plays with tension and evocation, while Enna’s live painting unfolds like automatic writing blended with glitched found footage telling an abstract and enigmatic story.

De par sa profession d’ingénieur en développement informatique, Emmanuel Küng, producteur de musique basé à Fribourg, se passionne pour l’électronique. Proche des réseaux d’artistes, il parcourt le monde à la rencontre d’autres passionné·e·x·s et affine une pratique plurielle, hétéroclite et toujours soucieuse de sortir des sentiers battus. OneFootStep fait de la musique depuis un certain temps déjà. Il ne se cantonne pas à un genre particulier, il s’agit plutôt pour lui d’explorer et d’expérimenter différentes techniques, aux platines comme au synthé modulaire.
En parallèle, il ne cesse de soutenir la scène locale en s’impliquant dans de nombreux projets culturels : Rababoo Records, SMEM, Backslash Festival, Umbo, pour n’en citer que quelques-uns. Ses morceaux ont été publiés avec ClubCultureCH, Worst Records ou encore Klub Kegelbahn Luzern, entre autres.
Pour le dernier bain sonore de cette série de trois, il accueillera le duo Osmium.
Osmium (ENNA x IZAK) est un duo qui explore depuis plusieurs années différentes expériences et médiums, en menant des recherches sur les synergies et tensions culturelles entre l’Occident et l’Orient. Basés en Suisse, ils reviennent récemment d’un séjour de cinq ans en Asie, principalement à Tokyo, où ils ont évolué dans la scène underground, proposant des performances multimodales au sein du collectif artistique « Fuego » ou sous le nom Osmium_AV.
Le duo propose une performance audiovisuelle live qui fusionne réalité et imagination, mêlant textures analogiques et organiques à des sonorités industrielles. Leur travail se déploie en une succession de tableaux où textures, formes et paysages sonores entraînent le public dans un voyage contemplatif. Oscillant entre rythmes downtempo et breaks nourris de noise, la musique industrielle d’Izak joue sur la tension et l’évocation, tandis que la peinture live d’Enna se déploie comme une écriture automatique mêlée à des images glitchées trouvées, racontant une histoire abstraite et énigmatique.

Als Softwareingenieur verbindet der in Freiburg lebende Musikproduzent Emmanuel Küng sein technisches Know-how mit einer grossen Leidenschaft für Elektronik. Eng vernetzt mit Künstlergemeinschaften weltweit, bereist er verschiedene Länder, trifft gleichgesinnte Enthusiasten und entwickelt eine vielschichtige, offene künstlerische Praxis, die gezielt neue Wege abseits der Konvention sucht.
Seit einigen Jahren produziert er Musik unter dem Namen OneFootStep. Dabei lässt er sich nicht von Genre-Grenzen einschränken, sondern erkundet und kombiniert verschiedene Klangwelten und Produktionstechniken – sowohl an den Plattenspielern als auch am modularen Synthesizer.
Zugleich engagiert sich Emmanuel Küng für die lokale Szene und bringt sich in zahlreiche kulturelle Projekte ein: Rababoo Records, SMEM, Backslash Festival und Umbo, um nur einige zu nennen. Seine Tracks erschienen unter anderem bei ClubCultureCH, Worst Records und Klub Kegelbahn Luzern.

Osmium (ENNA x IZAK) ist ein Duo, das seit mehreren Jahren verschiedene Erfahrungen und Medien erforscht und dabei kulturelle Synergien und Spannungen zwischen West und Ost untersucht. Sie sind in der Schweiz ansässig, sind jedoch kürzlich von einem fünfjährigen Aufenthalt in Asien zurückgekehrt, hauptsächlich in Tokio, wo sie in der Underground-Szene aktiv waren und multimediale Performances als Teil des Kunstkollektivs «Fuego» oder unter dem Namen Osmium_AV präsentierten.
Das Duo bietet eine audiovisuelle Live-Performance, die Realität und Imagination verschmelzen lässt und analoge sowie organische Texturen mit industriellem Noise verbindet. Ihre Arbeit entfaltet sich in einer Abfolge von Tableaus, in denen Texturen, Formen und Klanglandschaften das Publikum auf eine kontemplative Reise mitnehmen. Zwischen Downtempo-Rhythmen und von Noise getriebenen Breaks bewegt sich Izaks industrielle Musik zwischen Spannung und Evokation, während Ennas Live-Painting sich wie automatisches Schreiben entfaltet, vermischt mit glitchartigen Found-Footage-Bildern, die eine abstrakte und rätselhafte Geschichte erzählen.
