Maarten Devoldere connait bien la scène des Docks pour y être venu plusieurs fois avec le groupe Balthazar. Mais avec Warhaus, son projet solo, ce sera une première. Dans ce dernier, on découvre la palette sonore affectionnée par l’artiste, un rock mélodieux et mélancolique porté par sa voix si caractéristique : une voix de douceur et d’histoires, qui raconte et qui transporte. Une sorte de Leonard Cohen des temps modernes.

Maarten Devoldere is no stranger to the Docks scene, having played there several times with Balthazar. But with Warhaus, his solo project, this will be a first. With Warhaus, we discover the sound palette favoured by the artist, a melodious and melancholy rock carried by his characteristic voice: a voice of sweetness and stories, which tells and transports. A sort of modern-day Leonard Cohen.

L’artiste multi-instrumentiste belge Oliver Symons, alias Warhola, ouvrira pour Warhaus avec son style assez indescriptible : entre indie electronica, sonorités pop et d’autres plutôt R&B, il nous ballade et nous régale. Également actif dans d’autres formations dont Bazart, Oliver ne semble pas avoir de limites à sa créativité et nous, on danse, ravis et étonnés.

Belgian multi-instrumentalist Oliver Symons, aka Warhola, will be opening for Warhaus with his indescribable style, a mix of indie electronica, pop and R&B sounds. Also active in other bands, including Bazart, Oliver seems to have no limits to his creativity, and we're dancing along, delighted and amazed.
