we come in a roundabout way - a movement practice

we come in a roundabout way - a movement practice

we will do simple things. walking, standing, turning. the complex will be that we do it together.
we will do complex things. walking, standing, turning. the simple will be that we do it together.

"we come in a roundabout way" is a long-time-project, initiated by christina gabriela galli, with audio_dance_walks on tempelhofer feld in berlin or through the old city of winterthur, with a fluid network, with workshop formats and audio experiments. the movement practice evolves around looking back while walking front, finding together how slow we can be, putting one foot after the other in order to know what the hips are doing and above all, trying to move what is moving.

Relics of Voices Once Visible

Relics of Voices Once Visible attempts to offer presence to absence, and transform immateriality into physicality. The act of offering presence to something that has disappeared can serve as a way to acknowledge the impact that the disappearance has had on those who were left behind.

The installation is accompanied by a text-based performance sound installation. It speaks of the systematic violence on sexual minorities in Egypt. The piece also depicts denial as a psychological coping mechanism and an act of self-arming.

Landscape of a breath

„Landscape of the breath“ allows images of landscapes appear through the human body.
As landscapes move, evolve and take shape, so do we move through life. We get shaped,
we form ourselves. We get formed, we shape ourselves. We carry mountains, hills, rivers
and the sea inside us. We inhale life and exhale sorrow. Our fate comes along with ups
and downs accompanied by thunderstorms and earthquakes. Yet here we are, moving
bodies through time and space.
„Landscape of a breath“ is a 15 minute long dance performance shown by Dorian Kaufeisen, Victor Mendes, Clara Tullii, Rebeka Mondovics. Along the journey
the performers question human nature in terms of behavior and habits.

echo echo 04:38

Tanzvermittlung in KörperBildSinnSprache

Bewegungsworkshop ohne grammatikalische Sprache

Bequeme Kleider mitnehmen.

OSOMO

Many of my friends complain about stress. OSOMO is my musical answer to that. You can lie down, dream away or fall asleep if you want. With the album "Side Trips" and the "Horizontal Concerts », I offer possibilities to make yourself comfortable and go on an inner journey. A journey that leads to different places for each person.

This is a Horizontal Concert. Please bring your own lying mat, pillow, blanket, depending on your needs. Suitable for people above of the age of 12

Konzept/Choreographie/Stimme: Christina Gabriela Galli
Audioaufnahme/Produktion: Milena Krstic

Still Remains Human in the 31st Century: Annihilation

Annihilation is a dystopian idea of Aleyna Günay’s new show. The artist will combine installation, performance, and sound for the occasion. This combination will deconstruct post-human tendencies into space while reflecting questions about cognition.
