Live performances are two-day micro-residencies in the venue, in order to prepare a performance adapted to the venue and in line with the proposed technology. Our aim is for each performance to be unique in terms of its relationship with sound, visuals and the space between audience and artist.

Les performances lives sont des accueils de micro-résidence de deux jours dans la salle, afin de pouvoir préparer une représentation adaptée à la salle et en lien avec la technologie proposée. Nous souhaitons, pour chacune de ses performances, qu’elle puisse offrir une singularité sur le rapport avec le sonore, le visuel ou entre public et artiste dans l’espace.

Live-Aufführungen entstehen jeweils im Rahmen von zweitägigen Mikroresidenzen am Veranstaltungsort. Ziel ist es, eine an den Raum und die angebotene Technologie angepasste Darbietung vorzubereiten. Jede Aufführung soll einzigartig sein, insbesondere in Bezug auf das Zusammenspiel von Klang, Bild und der Beziehung zwischen Publikum und Künstlerinnen bzw. Künstlern.

Pixelle Panthère is an analog visual experience created using outdated electronic equipment. The project revolves around images, video, installation, and performance. It invites viewers to encounter and traverse dreamlike images, small windows that hope to be gentle, sometimes melancholic cocoons, sometimes electric, pretty analog memories, indivisible spaces.

Pixelle Panthère est une expérience visuelle analogique réalisée avec du matériel électronique daté. Le projet tourne autour de l’image, de la vidéo, de l’installation et de la performance. On y rencontre et traverse des images rêvées, petite fenêtre qui espère être douce, parfois cocon mélancolique, parfois électrique, jolis souvenirs analogiques, espaces insécables.

Pixelle Panthère ist ein analoges visuelles Experiment, das mit veralteter elektronischer Ausrüstung realisiert wurde. Das Projekt dreht sich um Bild, Video, Installation und Performance. Man begegnet und durchquert Traumbilder, kleine Fenster, die hoffentlich sanft sind, manchmal melancholische Kokons, manchmal elektrisierend, schöne analoge Erinnerungen, unteilbare Räume.

Dimitri Coppe is a composer and musician who has been developing spatialized and immersive sound installations for over 20 years, combining pavilions, totems, and piezo garlands. His performances and in situ installations immerse the audience in a plastic sound space, encouraging collective listening and live creation. Through works such as "Living Sound", "Mountain of Disbelief", "Microvox", and "mxsx", as well as collaborations such as Olbers' Paradox, 6x + 1, and Das grosse Lautsprecher Orchester Festival, he explores acoustic complexity and questions traditional forms of listening.

During this evening, Dimitri Coppe will present four of his works, specially adapted and deployed through MIAM's immersive device.

"Enlighted Space" is a kaleidoscopic proposal combining live performance, acousmatic composition, and creation for the image, united by an intimate relationship between sound and its spatial staging. Deployed in and around the audience, sound becomes plastic and immersive material. This live performance has been specifically designed to explore MIAM's 30-channel system and enriched with occasional elements: totems, pavilions, piezo garlands, in order to intensify the sensory experience.

"Da mihi ex ista arbore quos seram surculos", inspired by Cicero's quote “Give me cuttings from this tree so that I may plant them (at home),” is an organic live performance that, through successive layers, brings forth a profusion of minerals, plants, and animals, like a fragment of time and life.

"Nuit", an 8-channel composition, unfolds in five scenes traversing darkness and light. It successively constructs underground, aquatic, and aerial spaces, playing between transparency and opacity. The work explores an intimate and archaic experience of listening in the dark, at the crossroads of the unconscious, memory, and intertwined sensations.

Finally, "Mountain of Disbelief", a short film by Gregory Grosjean (18 minutes), offers a poetic and quasi-cosmic narrative in which sound infuses an animistic dimension, embodying two opposing presences at the heart of the images.

Dimitri Coppe est un compositeur et musicien qui développe depuis plus de 20 ans un dispositif sonore spatialisé et immersif, mêlant pavillons, totems et guirlandes de piezos. Ses performances et installations in situ plongent le public dans un espace sonore plastique, favorisant l’écoute collective et la création live. À travers des œuvres comme "Living Sound", "Mountain of Disbelief", "Microvox" ou "mxsx", ainsi que des collaborations telles que Olbers' paradoxe, 6x + 1 et Das grosse Lautsprecher Orchester Festival, il explore la complexité acoustique et questionne les formes d’écoute traditionnelles.

Lors de cette soirée, Dimitri Coppe présentera quatre de ses œuvres, spécialement adaptées et déployées à travers le dispositif immersif de MIAM.

"Enlighted Space" est une proposition kaléidoscopique mêlant live, composition acousmatique et création pour l’image, unies par une relation intime entre le son et sa mise en scène spatiale. Déployé dans et autour du public, le son devient matière plastique et immersive. Ce live a été conçu spécifiquement pour explorer le dispositif en 30 canaux de MIAM et enrichi d’éléments ponctuels: totems, pavillons, guirlandes de piezos, afin d’intensifier l’expérience sensorielle.

"Da mihi ex ista arbore quos seram surculos", est inspiré de la citation de Cicéron "Donne-moi des boutures de cet arbre pour que je les plante (chez moi)". Un live organique qui, par imprégnations successives, fait émerger un foisonnement minéral, végétal et animal, comme un fragment de temps et de vie.

"Nuit", composition en 8 canaux, se déploie en cinq tableaux traversant obscurité et clarté. Elle construit successivement des espaces souterrains, aquatiques et aériens, jouant entre transparence et opacité. L’œuvre explore une expérience intime et archaïque de l’écoute dans la pénombre, à la croisée de l’inconscient, de la mémoire et des sensations entremêlées.

Enfin, "Mountain of Disbelief", court métrage de Gregory Grosjean (18’), propose une narration poétique et quasi cosmique où le son insuffle une dimension animiste, incarnant deux présences opposées au cœur des images.

Dimitri Coppe ist ein Komponist und Musiker, der seit über 20 Jahren ein räumliches und immersives Klangsystem entwickelt, das Pavillons, Totems und Piezo-Girlanden miteinander verbindet. Seine Performances und Installationen vor Ort tauchen das Publikum in einen plastischen Klangraum ein, der das kollektive Hören und die Live-Kreation fördert. Mit Werken wie "Living Sound", "Mountain of Disbelief", "Microvox" oder "mxsx" sowie Kooperationen wie Olbers' paradoxe, 6x + 1 und Das grosse Lautsprecher Orchester Festival erforscht er die akustische Komplexität und hinterfragt traditionelle Formen des Zuhörens.

An diesem Abend präsentiert Dimitri Coppe vier seiner Werke, die speziell für das immersive System des MIAM angepasst und umgesetzt wurden.

"Enlighted Space" ist ein kaleidoskopischer Vorschlag, der Live-Musik, akusmatische Komposition und Bildgestaltung miteinander verbindet, vereint durch eine intime Beziehung zwischen Klang und seiner räumlichen Inszenierung. Der Klang wird im und um das Publikum herum zu einer plastischen und immersiven Materie. Dieses Live-Konzert wurde speziell für die Erkundung des 30-Kanal-Systems von MIAM konzipiert und mit punktuellen Elementen wie Totems, Pavillons und Piezo-Girlanden angereichert, um das sensorische Erlebnis zu intensivieren.

"Da mihi ex ista arbore quos seram surculos", inspiriert von einem Zitat von Cicero „Gib mir Stecklinge von diesem Baum, damit ich sie (bei mir) pflanzen kann”, ist ein organisches Live-Konzert, das durch aufeinanderfolgende Imprägnierungen eine Fülle von Mineralien, Pflanzen und Tieren hervorbringt, wie ein Fragment von Zeit und Leben.

"Nuit", eine Komposition für 8 Kanäle, entfaltet sich in fünf Bildern, die Dunkelheit und Helligkeit durchqueren. Sie baut nacheinander unterirdische, aquatische und luftige Räume auf und spielt dabei mit Transparenz und Opazität. Das Werk erforscht eine intime und archaische Erfahrung des Hörens im Halbdunkel, an der Schnittstelle zwischen Unbewusstem, Erinnerung und vermischten Empfindungen.

Schließlich bietet "Mountain of Disbelief", ein Kurzfilm von Gregory Grosjean (18'), eine poetische und fast kosmische Erzählung, in der der Ton eine animistische Dimension einflößt und zwei gegensätzliche Präsenzen im Herzen der Bilder verkörpert.
