New Resale Feature

Over the past months, our ticketing and agenda team has been working intensively to offer PETZI customers a ticket resale feature.

With this feature, ticket holders can resell their tickets directly via their PETZI customer account – securely and without using third-party platforms such as social media or online marketplaces.

This way, you not only give someone else the chance to attend an event, but also help ensure that clubs and festivals are well attended. A simple way to support the live music scene, even if you can’t attend yourself.

The test phase

After initially testing the feature on selected events, the second test phase now runs from January 13 to March 16, during which the feature is activated for most of our members. Tickets that have not been resold by March 16 will automatically be returned to the original customer account.

Please note: offering a ticket for resale does not guarantee that it will be sold.

How does it work?

You can now resell PETZI tickets directly from your account. Simply log in at petzi.ch, go to “My tickets”, and click the “Resell” button next to the ticket you wish to offer – that’s it!

If your ticket is purchased by another person before the event starts, the purchase price will be refunded to your original payment method within 30 days.

You can cancel the resale at any time and get your ticket back by clicking “Cancel resale”. Please note: if you decide to offer the ticket for resale again later, it will be added to the end of the waiting list.

A fee of CHF 2 is charged for each successful resale transaction to cover transaction costs. If the ticket price is below CHF 2, no refund will be issued – however, the ticket will still be made available again. A small act of solidarity that allows someone else to attend the event.

Where is the ticket resold?

Your ticket is added directly back into the regular ticket inventory. There is no separate resale platform, and buyers will not know that the ticket was resold – everything works as usual via PETZI.

We hope this feature makes ticketing more flexible for you and allows even more people to enjoy live concerts at our members’ events.

Important

Offering a ticket for resale does not guarantee that it will be purchased. If it is not bought by another person before the event starts, no refund will be issued – however, your ticket will remain valid for attending the event.
