Alizée Quinche
A graduate of the École Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne in photography and visual communication, Alizée Quinche explores the various means of expression of the photographic medium, opening up her practice to the visual arts: performance, installation and sound work.

Her sound performance explores the connections between the different concepts that make up our biotechnological present and future: humans, machines and bacteria. Connected in this way, they become a single entity: the cyborg. Through the electric current that flows between the human, sixteen strains of bacteria and the cables, the live show invites you on an ambient journey between soothing and deafening sounds, gentle and grating, utopian and dystopian.

Elie
Elie appropriates the violence of sound to convey it in her own terms, in a kind of dystopian sound trip that amplifies the daily over-stimulation of the brain.

At the heart of her performance is an exploration of the sounds emitted by the amplification of objects close to her trans identity, as well as the EDM samples that accompanied her in her early years of music. As she moves through space, she also plays with the resonance of sound through feedback, weaving a triptych between body, machine and space.

Living in Neuchâtel, she was part of the Embrayage 24-25 programme of support for emerging artists at the Case à Chocs in Neuchâtel. Before that, she toured all over Switzerland with her DJ project of the same name.

Diplômée de l’École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne en photographie et communication visuelle, Alizée Quinche explore les différents moyens d’expression du médium photographique, ouvrant sa pratique aux arts visuels : performance, installation et travail sonore.

Sa performance sonore explore les connexions entre les différents concepts qui constituent notre présent et futur biotechnologique : les humain·e·x·s, les machines et les bactéries. Ainsi relié·e·x·s, iels ne forment plus qu’une entité : le·a·x cyborg. A travers le courant électrique qui circule au contact entre l’humain·e·x, seize souches de bactéries et les câbles, le live invite à un voyage ambiental entre sons apaisants et assourdissants, doux et grinçants, utopiques et dystopiques.

Elie
Elie s’approprie la violence du son pour la transmettre en ses propres termes, dans une sorte de trip sonore dystopique qui vient amplifier la sur-stimulation quotidienne du cerveau.

Elle place au centre de sa performance l’exploration des sons qu’émettent l’amplification d’objets proches de son identité trans, mais aussi de samples EDM qui l’ont accompagnée dans ses premières années de musique. En se déplaçant dans l’espace, elle joue aussi avec la résonance du son à travers des jeux de larsens, tissant un triptyque entre corps, machine et espace.

Vivant à Neuchâtel, elle a fait partie du programme d’accompagnement d’artistes émergeant·e·x·s Embrayage 24-25 de la Case à Chocs à Neuchâtel. Avant cela, elle a tourné dans toute la Suisse avec son projet de DJ du même nom.

Alizée Quinche
Alizée Quinche hat an der École Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne einen Abschluss in Fotografie und visueller Kommunikation erworben. In ihrer Arbeit erforscht sie die vielfältigen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten des Mediums Fotografie und öffnet ihre Praxis gezielt für andere Formen der visuellen Kunst, wie Performance, Installation und klangbasierte Projekte.

Ihre Klangperformance setzt sich mit den Verflechtungen verschiedener Konzepte auseinander, die unsere gegenwärtige und zukünftige biotechnologische Realität prägen: Menschen, Maschinen und Bakterien. Indem sie diese Elemente miteinander verbindet, entsteht eine neue Einheit – der Cyborg – Die Live-Performance lädt das Publikum ein auf eine ambientartige Reise, in der der elektrische Strom, der zwischen Menschen, sechzehn Bakterienstämmen und Kabeln fliesst, hörbar wird. Das Ergebnis ist ein Wechselspiel aus beruhigenden und erschütternden, sanften und knirschenden, utopischen und dystopischen Klängen.

Elie
Elie macht sich die Wucht des Klangs zu eigen, um sie durch ihre eigene künstlerische Sprache weiterzuvermitteln – in einer Art dystopischem Soundtrip, der die alltägliche Reizüberflutung des Gehirns noch intensiviert.

Im Zentrum ihrer Performance steht die Erforschung von Klängen, die durch die Verstärkung von Objekten entstehen, welche mit ihrer Trans-Identität verbunden sind. Gleichzeitig nutzt sie EDM-Samples, die sie in ihren ersten Jahren als Musikerin begleitet haben. Indem sie sich während ihrer Aufführung durch den Raum bewegt, spielt Elie gezielt mit der Resonanz von Klängen und mit Rückkopplungseffekten – und erschafft so ein Triptychon aus Körper, Maschine und Raum.

Elie lebt in Neuenburg und war Teil des Förderprogramms für Nachwuchskünstlerinnen und -künstler Embrayage 24-25 der Case à Chocs in Neuenburg. Zuvor war sie mit ihrem gleichnamigen DJ-Projekt in der ganzen Schweiz unterwegs.
