Avec son nouvel album "INERTIA" (sortie : 5 septembre), grandson semble vouloir pousser les gens à se libérer. Mais de quoi ? D’énergies accumulées sans raison, de croyances infondées, d’injustices, d’un manque de tolérance, de systèmes qui ne fonctionnent plus. Depuis toujours, l’artiste utilise sa musique - mélange imparable entre rock, electro et rap - pour secouer les esprits, telle une révolution en action. Mais ici, il va un cran plus loin. Se libérer pour pouvoir avancer, et sortir de l’inertie. Voici qui promet en live.
With his new album "INERTIA" (release: Sept. 5), grandson seems to want to encourage people to free themselves. But from what? From energies accumulated for no reason, unfounded beliefs, injustices, a lack of tolerance, systems that no longer work. The artist has always used his music—an unstoppable mix of rock, electro, and rap—to shake things up, like a revolution in action. But here, he goes a step further. Freeing oneself in order to move forward and break out of inertia. This promises to be exciting live.

Créé à Baltimore, Pinkshift devient viral en 2020 grâce au titre "i’m gonna tell my therapist on you". Cela faisait alors un an que le groupe s’était formé, grâce à des rencontres faites à la Johns Hopkins University entre Ashrita, Paul puis Myron. Avec cette énergie explosive typique du rock américain, le jeune trio nous balade avec brio entre punk, pop, grunge et alt rock, mené par la voix plus que déterminée d’Ashrita.

Formed in Baltimore, Pinkshift went viral in 2020 with their song "i’m gonna tell my therapist on you". The band had been together for a year at that point, having met at Johns Hopkins University: Ashrita, Paul and then Myron. With the explosive energy typical of American rock, the young trio brilliantly takes us on a journey through punk, pop, grunge and alt rock, led by Ashrita's determined voice.
