the Jesus Lizard ont sorti un album le 13 septembre. Jusque là, rien d’anormal. Sauf que, la dernière fois que le groupe avait annoncé une sortie, c’était en l’an 2000. Et là, tout à coup, on réalise l’ampleur de la nouvelle, le retour d’une formation renaissant de ses cendres, la réapparition d’un rock brut et honnête, un peu noisy mais surtout sans chichis. L’unique date suisse entre nos murs promet d’être inoubliable.

And now, all of a sudden, we realise the magnitude of the news, the return of a band reborn from the ashes, the reappearance of raw, honest rock, a little noisy but above all without fuss. The only Swiss date between our walls promises to be unforgettable.

C’est en 2003 que se forme, à Lausanne, Ventura. Depuis tout ce temps, le groupe n’a pas perdu sa fougue, partageant avec une énergie libératrice un rock péchu digne de gros noms américains. Après avoir secoué le Croc the Rock en septembre, on se réjouit de les voir évoluer sur notre scène pour une ouverture de soirée explosive, où l’on pourra notamment entendre leur nouvel album "Superheld", qui sortira 6 ans après le précédent.

Ventura was formed in Lausanne in 2003. In all that time, the band have lost none of their fiery spirit, sharing their infectious rock worthy of big American names. After shaking up Croc’ the Rock in September, we’re looking forward to seeing them perform on our stage for an explosive opening night, where we’ll be able to hear their new album "Superheld", which will be released 6 years after their previous one.
