PETZI COMMUNITY FUND

The cultural sector has been hit hard by the measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and is going through rough times. In order to help our members, we set up the "Petzi Community Fund", a solidarity fund to support our most affected clubs and festivals. On the Solidarity page you can donate to your favorite club or festival, or to the Petzi Community Fund which will be used to provide quick financial assistance to members most in need. Thank you in advance for your help.

Young Boy Dancing Group, Manuel Scheiwiller (CH), Maria Metsalu (EE) et Nicolas Roses (ARG), Sylvie Chen (CN/CH), Madita Geni Thalia aka Kebra (BR/MX), Slim Soledad (BR)
performance · 90’

Young boy dancing group remains best known for rawly intimate performances in which the materiality of bodies encounters the ethereality of light. Over the last half-decade, YBDG has worked in video, photography, fashion, sculpture, and installation. As this precarious brigade continually swells and tightens, picking up new performers at each location, its core values persist as a fierce rampart against mainstream culture: somatic exploration, not sexualization; exposure, not ex hibitionism; community liberation, not bridled isolation; object-identification, not commodification; and DIY, not institutional polish.
