Entre shoegaze et post-rock, les mélodies s’enchainent avec soin, prenant leur temps dans des morceaux dépassant souvent les 6 minutes. Dans un monde qui s’accélère, Mogwai freine la cadence, et nous embarque dans un voyage sonore immersif.

This year marks 30 years since Mogwai was formed in Glasgow, and 30 years since the band began innovating with powerful, experimental compositions. Somewhere between shoegaze and post-rock, the melodies are carefully strung together, taking their time in tracks that often exceed 6 minutes. Recorded in the secluded Black Bay studio on the Isle of Lewis, the album explores the collision between desire and loss, self-fulfillment and shame, embracing a new intensity - bigger, angrier and full of desire.
