LEPROUS (NO)
"Aphelion", le dernier album de Leprous, est un melting pot extatique entre improvisations en studio et compositions solos ensuite réfléchies en groupe. Volontairement construit sans construction, le résultat est pourtant étonnant de cohérence. Les Norvégiens naviguent avec brio entre accalmies et tempêtes, leadés par la voix ensorceleuse d’Einar Solberg.

"Aphelion", Leprous' latest album, is an ecstatic melting pot between studio improvisations and solo compositions then reflected upon as a group. Deliberately built without construction, the result is nevertheless surprisingly coherent. The Norwegians navigate brilliantly between lulls and storms, led by the bewitching voice of Einar Solberg.

Ce qui frappe avec Monuments, c’est l’unité. De la batterie fracassante aux mélodies de voix aux allures héroïques, le résultat forme un tout logique, connecté, rassembleur. Dans leur nouvel album "In Stasis", le groupe anglais continue d’épouser les contours du métal progressif. De notre côté, on se laisse prendre au jeu : et une fois accrochés, plus question de lâcher.
