C'est Berne: NVST, Kasma (live) & Bernet Branca
Pedal to the metal, von Punkt 0 auf Hundert mit Bernet Branca – eisern BPMs und Breaks, Hats scheppern, ein Ballern, das Drehmoment zum Himmel und wir gehen in die Knie, falten die Hände: der Dachstock hat wieder offen. Danach Rafael Kasma am Liveset, kühl und intentional spielt er das, mit dieser Eleganz, Produktionen wie ein USM Haller Regal oder nein, proletarischer, etwas rauer, eher wie Errex. Und zum Schluss der Nacht die NVST – leert uns vom DJ-Pult her eine Lagune vor den Latz – schwarzes Wasser, bassverdichtet, gleichwohl flüchtig wie Terpentin. Im unteren Temperaturbereich aber gelenkig, intelligenter Dance der von den Füssen direkt zu Kopf steigt und knallt. Das ist satt, stilsicher, das ist scheissschönes Handwerk an den Reglern.

NVST
NVST has a streetwise savoir-far that infiltrates her sets, infusing them with the energy of a dark dancefloor of sweaty walls. She’s a dj that doesn’t fear to put the crowd in ‘uncomfortable’ positions, defying what they think they know. Her style thrives on the clash of genres and textures, that come altogether as a raw, acidic unity that demands a frenetic dance ritual.
Coming from the Swiss illegal party scene, the values that move NVST approach to DJing remains distant to conventionalisms and commercial approaches.
NVST is part of “Statement” crew, “Female:Pressure” family, she’s co-running the French label “Big Science”, has bimestrial residency on “LYL” Radio.
