Après avoir foulé notre scène en 2013 et 2014, Coroner n’avait plus eu l’occasion de revenir. Quoi de mieux, alors, que de les réinviter 45 ans après leurs débuts ? Coup d’œil en arrière, on découvre une carrière unique faite d’expérimentations, de reconnaissances, de pauses aussi. Mais aujourd’hui, le groupe de thrash metal annonce son sixième album studio : preuve que sa flamme brûle toujours bel et bien d’un feu ardent.

After having graced our stage in 2013 and 2014, Coroner never had the chance to return. So what could be better than to invite them back 45 years after their debut? Looking back, we discover a unique career made up of experimentation, recognition and breaks too. But today, the thrash metal band announce their sixth studio album: proof that their flame still burns brightly.

Tar Pond rassemble des musiciens de renom, de Chris Perez à Thomas Ott en passant par Markus Edelmann. Mais au-delà des noms, leur force provient d’une forme de vérité partagée : comme si leur sensibilité absorbait toute l’intensité émotionnelle environnante pour la recracher en sonorités sombres mais libératrices. Ça tabasse, ça vibre, tout en lenteur et en profondeur. Du Doom’n’Gloom, tout simplement.
Tar Pond brings together renowned musicians, from Chris Perez to Thomas Ott and Markus Edelmann. But beyond the names, their strength comes from a shared sense of truth: it is as if their sensitivity absorbs all the emotional intensity around them and spits it back out in dark but liberating sounds. It hits hard, it vibrates, all in slow motion and with depth. Doom'n'Gloom, you named it.
SILVER DUST (CH)
Silver Dust se démarque dès ses débuts en 2013 : en quelques mois, le groupe à l’occasion de jouer au Montreux Jazz Festival. Depuis, Lord Campbell et ses acolytes enchainent les albums et les tournées, en accompagnant notamment Lordi, Moonspell, Rotting Christ puis Soen. En 2025, le nouvel album "Symphony of Chaos" venait compléter leur belle discographie : mélodies épiques, riffs tranchants, de quoi replonger en beauté dans cette « poussière d’argent ».
Silver Dust stood out right from the start in 2013: within a few months, the band had the opportunity to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Since then, Lord Campbell and his bandmates have released a string of albums and toured extensively, accompanying Lordi, Moonspell, Rotting Christ and Soen, among others. In 2025, the new album "Symphony of Chaos" completed their impressive discography: epic melodies and sharp riffs, perfect for diving back into this silver dust.
