Pas de site ni de vidéo, très peu de photos, pas de réseaux sociaux. Des morceaux majoritairement instrumentaux, pour sûr orchestraux, d’une durée dépassant souvent 10 minutes. Depuis toujours, la formation post-rock Godspeed You! Black Emperor sillonne sa carrière en marge des canaux traditionnels. Les créations se construisent crescendo, de manière quasi hypnotique. Les notes s’imprègnent dans des rythmes posés qui nous maintiennent. Au cœur de ce rock de chambre, sujet de fascinations constantes, la magie opère.

Black Emperor has always pursued its career on the fringes of traditional channels. Their creations build to a crescendo, almost hypnotically. The notes are impregnated with steady rhythms that hold you in their grip. At the heart of this chamber rock, a subject of constant fascinations, magic happens.
